Blackout CNN

For nearly as long as Governor Johnson has been running for President, CNN has been a thorn in his side. After polling higher than Rick Santorum, CNN removed Gov. Johnson from their polling choices. They then changed the rules for debate inclusion almost specifically to exclude Gary Johnson from their debates. CNN still refuses to include Gary in their polling analysis, despite the fact that he will be on the ballot in all 50 states and impressive polling numbers in numerous states.

We have had enough of this media blackout. Now we are going to BLACKOUT CNN!

We will attack from four different fronts to show them what the liberty movement is capable of. We will assault at their headquarters, we will bombard their phone lines, we will devastate their Twitter feed, and we will show our defiance of the two-party machine with a Gary Johnson Moneybomb!

Blackout CNN Protest
On Sunday, July 15th 10:30 AM the assault will begin at CNN headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. We will show up in person to 190 Marietta Street NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30303 with signs, flags, and our voices to protest for equal coverage of Libertarian Presidential candidate Gary Johnson. Our intent is to gain local and national media coverage in order to show CNN, and all of the mainstream media, that we refuse to accept their hand-picked candidates.

#BlackoutCNN Twitter
Gary Johnson supporters will be attending a protest at CNN headquarters on Monday, July 16th at 11:00am. This Twitter Bomb will be the second line of attack, manned by those who cannot attend the protest at their headquarters.
We are not going to take this blackout any more. We are going to #BlackoutCNN!

On July 16th, at 11:00 a.m. EDT, start tweeting @CNN , @CNNPolitics , @CNNBRK (breaking news) with the hashtag #BlackoutCNN

EXAMPLE: “#BlackoutCNN like they have blacked out @GovGaryJohnson ! Include him in your polling @CNN .

Remember not to use the tag until the given date and time!
Tweet for as long and as many times as you can and retweet as much as you can.
Get creative, but be (somewhat) respectful.

Blackout CNN Phones

The third line of attack is a rolling call schedule for State Directors to use in conjunction with the Protest being Held at CNN. We will bombard their phone lines with requests to include Gary Johnson in their polling.
Generally, states are paired up to work together for 30 minute intervals EVERY DAY until we get what we are after.
We need as many people as possible to help with calling especially if they are unable to actually attend the CNN Protest itself.

The Rolling Call Schedule starts on MONDAY JULY 16th and continues until we win! The calls should begin as a wave going from the East coast to the West coast producing a steady stream for at least 12 hrs each day.

Blackout CNN Moneybomb

Our final attack will show our defiance of the hand-picked big government candidates! In combination with the protest and a twitter bomb, we are hosting a fundraising event to help Governor Johnson and Judge Gray during this protest.

Every dollar counts, and is a huge assistance for the campaign. Let us come together either in person at the event or on Twitter, but as well let us come together and donate $10, $25, or $50 towards the campaign and the efforts to be included in National media and the debates!
Every dollar we raise shows the media and the two-party establishment that we are fed up with the “choices” they force upon us.

Co-Director, Ohio for Gary Johnson 2012
